Automate Access to More Apps with Webhooks

Saving time AND improving employee productivity is exactly what automating provisioning and deprovisioning via Lumos does. Now, internal tools and non-SCIM applications also have access to automation capabilities - score!

Provisioning Webhook

Automate provisioning to internal tools and applications that aren’t supported by your identity provider.

Deprovisioning Webhook

If employees were only given access to an application for a certain period of time, you can automatically deprovision access.

Pre-approval Webhook

Create custom approval rules to pre-approve access based on certain criteria such as a specific job function, existence of a ticket, or whether an engineer is on-call.

Request Validation Webhook

Require employees to complete certain steps, such as complete security training, before giving them access.

Protect Your Most Sensitive Data with Multi-Stage Approvals

When it comes to sensitive permissions or applications that are in-scope for compliance frameworks such as SOX, auditors require more than one layer of approval.

Now, you can require multiple levels of approval to protect your most important information. Admins can set up stage 1 and stage 2 approval layers from a certain user or group, require managerial approval, and add in additional approval layers if needed for your most sensitive permissions. This will require one person from each stage of the approval process to grant access before Lumos provisions the account or permission, helping you keep your data safe.

Track and Report on License SKUs within Renewal Management

Keeping track of upcoming renewals is often a headache. Lumos helps companies become proactive instead of reactive about renewals by bringing all of the necessary information, such as contract data and renewal dates, in one place.

With our latest update, you can input all of your license information and link it to the application’s usage data via Lumos’ integration. Never wonder how many licenses you need again! With this level of visibility you can see how many licenses were purchased and allocated to employees for each application.

Finance and FP&A teams can also export this data from Lumos to calculate the SaaS cost per employee for future budgeting and financial planning.

New & Noteworthy

Here are a few more new features that we released this month to make managing your SaaS environment easier. Reach out to the team over Slack or email to learn more!

• Onboarding Notifications: Notify IT admins and/or managers via email or Slack when there’s a new hire. Once notified, admins and/or managers can request the apps the new hire needs to get up to speed from day one.
• Provision to Any Okta Group: In addition to Okta Assignment Groups, you can now link any Okta Group to a Lumos AppStore permission. This way you can automate requests and provisioning for any Okta Group in your environment.
• Sync Okta Groups to Lumos: Now you can create an Okta group specifically for Lumos and sync these Okta groups on the Integrations page. This will add any new groups you created into Lumos for use as approvers and/or app admins.
• Full AzureAD and OneLogin Support: Lumos can now work with AzureAD and OneLogin to populate identity and access data for the AppStore and Access Reviews.
